Disposition Analysis and Management
Opportunistically selling assets at the optimal time and price is an essential investment strategy for many investors. If you choose to not hold a particular set of asset(s) to maturity, NorthStar offers disposition and marketing services to assist in the sale of such assets. These services include various levels of involvement, ranging from minimal oversight to full involvement and negotiation on behalf of our clients. Available services include the following:
- Sourcing of potential buyers
- Procuring and managing bid process
- Negotiating the terms of the sale
- Managing the due diligence process with the buyer (i.e. expeditiously providing all required documents from our database, answering questions, and generally making the process as streamlined as possible for the buyer)
- Tracking the progress and completion of all transaction documents (including coordination with attorneys)
- Managing the closing and change of ownership process
